Hello Lovelies, and happy Fall! I cannot believe I’m saying this but this is the last week of blogtember, now that I’ve created quite the routine I’ll be with you blogging daily (excluding weekends) about life, weddings, business, event recaps, and little bit of everything in between. Last week, Sel hosted her second open house at her adorable shop, paper passion. If you’ve been living in Laredo and haven’t stopped by you’re seriously missing out on some of the most adorable paper goods. For me, paper passion is like home. I love being surrounded by beautiful stationary and even more another creative friend. To keep it real with you in the past I’ve avoided wedding type events, kind of like the plague. For me, it’s just not my thing and quite honestly brides rarely ever go to a wedding show looking to find their wedding planner, the return just isn’t there for me and it’s awkward. When Sel invited me to her open house I knew it was different, and I was right! Sel gave me tons of creative room to do what I felt comfortable with, and not only did I meet plenty of new people but I had a chance to learn about each of the women who were there and their business.
It was a fun two days and on the second day it even felt a little fall like, for about 2 hours and then it was summer again! If you missed my recap of what happened after the event, check this post out. What an amazing–AMAZING weekend! Have a great Monday lovelies.
P.S. I haven’t worn a bun in years…I remember why I kind of look like I’m a teenager–ha!
