Happy Friday lovely blogettes! I hope you’ve had an amazing week, I’m not sure where the time has gone but this week flew by! Around MME I’m happily nestled into the most wonderful time of year, engagement & vintage rental season. Never heard of engagement season? For wedding professionals it’s generally the time where we see hundreds of thousands of couples getting engaged and our websites flooded with new inquiries. This is also the time for many rental companies where we see a spike in interest for specialty items, in my case my vintage rental plate settings and teacups.
Teacups while very commonly used to sip your favorite cup of tea, can also be used to hold the most delectable treat similarly to how I have styled below. On a side note this was one of my favorite styled shoots to date, all the delicate details are so representative of my personal style. I have a client in next year who will be using my lovely teacups to compliment her Alison in Wonderland theme baby sprinkle, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together. I love seeing how clients use my rental items, so please don’t be shy in sending me a picture of your event. In 2014 I’ll be throwing a “sip and see” where you’ll have a chance to preview some of my favorite items from my vintage collection and sip delicious tea and eat yummy desserts with me. Stay tuned lovelies, you don’t want to miss this event!
Ready to rent my lovely little dishes? Yes! For all of my 2014 rental clients I’m throwing in a few extra vintage pieces for you to use that I believe will compliment your bridal shower, baby shower/sprinkle, or wedding as my thanks for your rental. You can expect to see sweet hankies, doilies, perhaps a small set of dessert plates, or even milk glass. Yup, just for you! If you aren’t sure about how to incorporate my rentals into your event please reach out to me, I am the queen of vintage and know just how to add this little extra touch.
This beautiful photography is by my very sweet friends over at Henry Photographers and these pictures were from a lovely styled shoot designed by Making Me Events, ME! To see the full list of fabulous vendors who made this shoot possible go here.
