Oh Happy Day! Thanks for starting your week with me on the blog, as you know I don’t normally blog on the weekends, but today I just had to break the rules! I feel like my Blogtember friends would all be giving me a high five for going the extra blog-mile, ha. Yesterday my photog friend and I decided to do a very impromptu shoot after the fall open house (I’ll be sharing details about that tomorrow, stay tuned). Justine, the amazing woman behind Photography by Justine did an amazing job photographing just a few of my rentals and I love the way this girl works, she really takes her time to think about what’s in the shot and together we make a killer combo. So killer that we’ll be working on a fun project together that is going to seriously blow your socks off!! I don’t think I can release the details just yet but what I will say is this, everything happens for a reason. Earlier in the day Justine called me a good luck charm, we all joked that I seem to be pretty lucky/blessed in business, of course I kind of chuckled and explained that I too hear my fair share of “no’s” but I take time to celebrate each and every “yes.” Today is a “yes” kind of celebrating day, not only do I get to show off these pretty pictures that Justine took but I get to also share that my rentals will be making the most loveliest of debuts in the cutest cafe here in Laredo. You have no idea how long I’ve waited to say that, I have always known that my vintage rentals could grace the shelves, walls, and homes of small cafe’s but to know it’s finally going to happen is like a dream come true! I just can’t wait for that moment, to walk in and see my pretty little plates scattered around a room ….it just brings tears to my eyes.
Seriously book this girl, she’s wonderful and you NEED to see just how hard she’ll work to get the right picture, it was amazing to see her in action and even more so to see her edit each picture. Here’s a quick picture I was able to get, you would never know by the pictures she took that we had a huge obstacle in our way which was this very big, very beautiful glass table. Justine just worked around it!
We finished off our day and ended a perfect shoot with tasty crepes and yummy macaroons, now that’s what I call a great day! Enjoy the rest of the weekend lovelies, I’ll see you back here tomorrow!
